Gastrointestinal/Digestive Issues and Diseases

Sports Nutrition

If  you are struggling with ANY OR ALL of the above, know that you are not alone.  I understand the stress, frustration, and helplessness that often go hand-in-hand with these issues.  No matter where someone is on their journey, I work alongside them in a safe, non-judgmental, supportive, and compassionate way.  By combining my personal life experiences, my education and training (which is ongoing in this ever-evolving field), and my 20 years of professional experience, I'm able to help people achieve their nutrition and wellness goals and truly break free of their eating issues to develop a healthy, balanced, and peaceful relationship with food and their bodies.  A life free from the stress of food, eating, and/or body image issues creates room for a life full of what's truly important.

Professional Bio
Lynn received her Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition & Dietetics from the University of Delaware's Honors Program, graduating with Summa Cum Laude Honors. After graduation, Lynn moved south from her hometown of Hockessin, Delaware when she earned a spot in the Mayo Clinic's highly competitive Dietetic Internship program in Jacksonville, Florida.

Following the completion of her internship at the Mayo Clinic, Lynn spent the next 5 years as the Lead Dietitian & Clinical Coordinator of Nutrition Services for Wolfson Children's Hospital and Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. As the Lead Dietitian and Clinical Coordinator of Nutrition for the Eating Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) & for the Adolescent Behavioral Health Department, she provided intensive individual and group nutrition counseling and rehabilitation for children and teens in the day treatment program and used a highly personalized approach, combining nutrition education, cognitive behavioral therapy, individualized meal planning, experiential activities, and meal support. Lynn also provided group nutritional therapy covering a wide range of nutritional topics, as well as body image and sociocultural pressures.  In addition, she worked closely with the families of the patients, as well as within a multi-disciplinary treatment team of physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists and other specialists in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for the patients and their recovery.

During her years at Baptist Medical Center & Wolfson Children's Hospital, Lynn was also the Director of their childhood and adolescent obesity program, and the Registered Dietitian for their Pediatric Cardiology Clinic.  In addition, she earned her Certificate of Training in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management in 2006 from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

In 2008, Lynn opened her own private practice (and continue to this day) providing nutrition counseling and education to children, adolescents, and adults using the experiences she has gained over the past 20 years.

Lynn resides in Ponte Vedra, Florida, enjoying life with her husband, their 5 children (3 girls and 2 boys), and their 2 dogs, Oakie and Blue.  Her non-professional interests include spending time with her family and friends - at the beach (and collecting shark's teeth), the pool, on a lake, or at any of her kids' various activities (cheer and football at the moment).  She also loves traveling, paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking, and reading.
